Time for a change

Photobucket

Tonight we are going to counseling. Hallelujah, ring them bells. My husband reluctantly agreed to go. He said that he thinks we don't really need it, but he will go because it's important to me. I am sensing some denial mixed in with a little fear here, but all that matters to me is that he agreed to go. I have so much I need to get out, it's a little overwhelming for me. I have been keeping a list, is that bad?

No...keeping a list is not bad. Good thing you have a counselor. We made major progress with one about a year ago. We did Imago Counseling. I think it is great your husband agreed to go. Don't worry about covering your list all in one session! Good luck tonight.

Hurray. Good on both of you.

And I keep a running list, too.

We survived. I feel a lot less angry which is good and I think my husband had NO idea how angry I actually was. So there's a communication breakdown for ya. We go back in two weeks. We have been trying and things are better. Thanks for your support!!!!

I'm glad it went well! I went for a little while last year and found it a very freeing experience. Hopefully it will be the same for the both of you.

NO its not bad. I keep mental list all the time. However, when we did go for counseling a few years back, you know what the counselor said? "No list, not blaming and no he said, she said". Interesting, but it worked.
